The suit selection in this game was picked by people who are fans of the ugliest spidermen costumes ever made. Finally, TR88 , Peoples politics aside “woke game vs not woke” her missions are ridiculously terrible. Insomniac has MJ taking out henchmen with a ridiculous amount of ease that are challenging for both spidermen. Much like the first 2 games that have these segments, The missions aren’t fun to play, I would love an option to skip it and turn it into a cutscene. This game honestly feels unfinished and in desperate need of DLC as well. With thrilling action gameplay and a deep story, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 capitalizes on the heights of its predecessors and somehow makes New York big enough for the two web-slingers who inhabit it.

The release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was announced at Summer Game Fest 2023 by Insomniac Games. The webslinger’s next adventure arrives on PlayStation 5 on October 20, 2023. As we get closer to the game’s launch, more and more details are releasing and we now know quite a bit about the game. Here’s everything there is to know about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 so far. As the story continues, we see several worlds colliding in the lives of Miles, Peter, and MJ. Miles, a student at Brooklyn Visions Academy, sees all of his friends solidifying their plans for college—but he is feeling left out.

This Spider-Bot, JJJ, can be found close to the Northern border of Greenwich. On the map screen, locate the building that looks like a chevron arrow pointing South-West (called Glam). You’ll be looking for a building to the North-East of it on the corner of an intersection, close to where a wind tunnel snakes around to the North. The Spider-Bot will be crawling near the top of the South-Eastern wall. This part of the game gets off to a slow start, however, as players take the role of Peter Parker as he conducts tests on Harry’s new “suit” (AKA The Symbiote). However, these moments in the game are excellent for character building and help build on the amazing character development shown throughout the game. Following these brief moments of downtime, Black Cat gives Peter and Harry a lead to a nearby Hunter base and the two of them go to take them down. The next few missions of the game are quite uneventful from a larger standpoint, as Peter Parker loses his professor job and returns to photography. These segments show off basic game mechanics like gadgets and suit customization, as the story takes a break before the excitement picks up later in the first act.

Very few of the alternate color schemes look better than the default, though. If you’re on the fence about picking up the game or starting the franchise in general, this list may be of help to you. I break down what I believe to be the game’s five biggest strengths and five biggest weaknesses.

This was fixed at the end of January 2025, with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 being brought to PC. The game should have had coop, switching between miles and peters feels pointless and unless you are doing a specific mission for them switching feels pointless. Very few side quests in the game and the few you do have are fetch quests with no impact to the story.

Marvel’s New York will naturally be hiding lots of enigmatic and rewarding secrets in its streets and skylines, but one thing which has been given a Super Hero glow-up are the suits you can unlock for Miles and Peter. Enter the addition of Brooklyn and Queens, which nearly doubles the size of the city and offers even more familiar locations that are important to both Spider-Men. Fans can expect to spot places like Brooklyn Visions Academy, Midtown High School, and Aunt May’s house, where Peter is living presently.

With the location of Curt Connors secured, MJ infiltrates the hunter base in an attempt to free him, as Harry and Peter desperately attempt to buy them time. Miles assists Rio in protecting the culture and musical legacy of the city by investigating and preventing a museum robbery. Peter and Miles oversee a prisoner transfer at the R.A.F.T., but are rudely interrupted by Kraven and his forces as they seek to capture the villains for unknown purposes. ‘The Sentry,’ a four-issue limited series by Sentry co-creator Paul Jenkins and artist Christian Rosado, launches this March.
